Tankavaara Gold Village, The gate of Lapland’s gold fields is located directly at the road E75, 30 km south of Saariselkä and 230 km north from Rovaniemi. Gold prospectors have taught visitors to pan gold for more than 40 years in Tankavaara.
Tankavaara Gold Village offers visitors gold panning experiences and Northern Lights hunting among other activities and accommodation in cottages as well as our campsite. Restaurant Old Gold Prospector is open every day.
