How to see the northern lights?
Stay up late, wear warm clothes, check the weather forecast for clear nights and look up the sky. Its really that easy, northern lights are visible in Tankavaara on most clear nights. We recommend taking a walk around the Village, look for clearings with fewer trees and good visibility to the sky, we have plenty of safe, small trails around Tankavaara. If you want to add something extra to your aurora hunting experience, we recommend booking one of our northern lights safaris with reindeer or snowmobiles.
